There's no way to spot-gain. Your genetics pretty much determines where you'll gain weight. Doing squats will help you build muscle in those areas but it's unlikely that doing so will make you gain fat in those area.
I agree. It's genetics. Look at families, and usually they are the same shape. Busty moms have busty daughters. Big butts and big bellies also run in families. There are always exceptions because of recessive genes, etc. But you can't change where you gain.
I too, am "round" in the butt, I am gaining, but most of the weight is going to my belly as well. I have an "office" job, so I sit on my butt all day. I hoping this will help my butt grow.
